Part 3: Your First Choice

Hi and welcome to part three. You know we are all kind of like players on a stage and we’re talking about the lens that we see life through as being so unique and so different and each one of us sees through different lens and therefore create something uniquely ours? And that’s actually how we create what we have in our life.

So part three is all about taking those choices and starting with choice number one, we’re gonna take the first step and really identifying the blockers –the subconscious programs that are writhing under the surface all the time and coming up to sabotage you.

Now part one, which was called “Taking your pulse”, you identified all the different eleven areas of your life and their level of satisfaction. Then you took those levels of satisfaction and you rated them down to your top two priorities.

Your top two choices that in this series you wanted to work on and you came up with choice number one, choice number two and each of their baselines. In other words, how much you feel at this moment that you can get to that particular goal. And then now, in part three, we’re gonna take a little bit further with that and I want you to look at exercise number two, that’s been attached and you’ll notice this is all for choice number one.

We’re going to better identify how you’re getting along in life and what is helping you and what is hindering you. You’ll see on the left hand side of the page where you’re to enter things that are positive, things that about yourself; personal attributes, traits, attitudes, skills –things that let’s say for instance you pick a career choice so some of the positive attributes and things you bring to help you get towards your goal could be you’re very organised, you’re very upbeat person, you’re very personable, things like that. And I want you to go ahead and just brag, go crazy!

Talk about all the great things and way you can feel and things that you feel empowered about going for that choice number one. And then when you’ve done that, I want you to move on to the right side of the page and I want you put and think about the thoughts, feelings and attributes, the things that come up when you think about going for that goal. Things like “oh my goodness, I don’t have enough time, I don’t have enough money, I’m not strong enough, I’m not smart enough”, all the stuff, all the programs you’ve got running that you know and you know really well it’s everything that always comes up all the time.

When you’ve done that, I want you to congratulate yourself because that’s the academy award-winning performance that you’ve been playing and you’ve been doing a brilliant job up until now and now it’s time to rewrite the script. And that’s what part four’s gonna be all about, rewriting your life script by identifying and fine-tuning and taking the next step closer to identifying specific word triggers that are your blockers.
