Believing that it’s true: False beliefs are a well known obstacle to achieving anything. If you think that you can’t play soccer then this will be reflected in your performance and you won’t perform well.
First Believe, Then Do!
The first step to develop a skill is to believe that you can do it. I’ve tried spoon bending by thinking I CAN make the metal soft and then was able to twist it three times – remarkable and fun! You only have to hold your concentration on that feeling of heating it up like butter to bend it for about 30-45 seconds to get three twists.
Then, Get Out Of Your Way
This is just like what you did with my October podcast E Squared exercise using positive and negative thoughts you were able to move the metal hangers. This morning my lamp broke. I’ve changed the bulbs and checked the power box and it still isn’t working.
However, I forgot to just try believing in it being ok. I’ll try that next. I will also check in to see if someone – a spirit – is trying to communicate because that happened two days ago in a mediumship session. And we all know that spirits are energy and can manipulate electricals, to get attention, just like we can. Maybe even better because they don’t have belief hang ups!
The second step, if you can’t get out of the way, is to try neurobrainwave feedback. If concentrated thoughts and feelings didn’t work, this scientific method is a way your brain can train itself to think the way you want it to. AC Milan football club used this mental training to eliminate doubts that could get in the way of some of their players performance in the World Cup. They had the ability, but like 1970’s world number one tennis star Billy Jean King 70’s also said, the psychological game is as important, if not the most important part of winning. One can have the ability, but will they be able to execute on the day of, is always the question.
I tried it in Zurich in 2007 and then met up with neurologist and longevity specialist Dr. Pavlov in Montreal. I loved her story of her favourite client. She used neurobrainwave feedback to train a young Canadian female tennis player to do what she had previously believed to be impossible. She was trained to overcome her own inner mental blocks and finally reached the European tennis circuit. The talent was there, but the belief just needed a little help. Believing or having doubts, we are all playing with it every day.
Live Your Purpose Live Your Passion
This is exactly why I developed my Live Your Purpose Live Your Passion (LPLP) program which uncovers and creates awareness of your subconscious self limiting beliefs. I started down this route because I wanted to see how I was getting in my own way and wanted to create an over ride method to be able to get results like neurobrainwave feedback. That’s how I hit on this LPLP method. We can all do it ourselves, by identifying the ‘blockers’ and then implementing new positive, more expansive neuropath ways or thoughts. It’s just that it takes time, practice and insight into what they are. They are our blind spots and we need to make them conscious. Now, I can catch myself when I am getting in my own way and flip my own destiny switch.

And you must check out Dr. James Hardt. I interviewed him for our movie “What If”: http://www.whatifthemovie.tv . His web site: http://www.biocybernaut.com . I believe Dr. Hardt is one of the bravest neurologists and neurobrainwave/alpha brainwave training experts I have met. Tony Robbins gave it a try this August. He believes we can reprogram ourselves to do whatever it is we desire, but lack belief to achieve. He truly lives beyond limits!
